Ensemble
Prague Quiet Music Collective (PQMC) was founded in 2021 with the aim of presenting contemporary reductionist music that emphasizes silence, deep listening, and subtle sonic details. We initiate and commission new compositions and explore the intersections of music with visual art, literature, film, and other artistic forms.
Projects
In its interpretation using contemporary instruments in the hands of PQMC, it retained its hypnotic quality and pinned listeners down in a space of suspended short tones that seemed both coordinated and unstructured, as if they were connected to each other, but with a slight delay.
